"Sher E Punjab has been the first restaurant I could eat and enjoy a gluten free meal. We were treated like royalty and the food is excellent. The wide variety of dishes available at the buffet can not be beat. If you are looking for authentic, inexpensive, great tasting Indian food this is the place! The service is fantastic. The owner and his staff make you feel at home. Sher E Punjab is our vote for best vegetarian!!!!!"

"The food is simply the best Indian food in northern California, bar none. The vegetable pakoras are sublime, the chicken makani is superb, and the aloo gobi is delicious. Aside from the exceptional food, the service is first rate. I never wait more than a few minutes to be seated and service is immediate. Many restaurants in our area would be well advised to go to Sher-e-Punjab simply to experience the true meaning of 'customer service.' I often find myself on business trips and have never come across another Indian restaurant that has better food -- and I have been around most of the US. They are first rate."

The staff are excellent, `Lovely' and his father are such warm & friendly people. We are weekly regulars and can not get enough of their good food. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! "

"Not only is the food fantastic, the family that runs the restaurant is exceptionally kind and fun - they go out of their way to make you feel right at home and remember you when you return, even share CDs of great Punjabi music. One of my favorite restaurants. Usually I shy away from all-you-can-eat buffets, but the selection is always excellent and fresh, never old. I rarely order from the menu now, but there are many delights to be found there as well. Thanks Sher-E-Punjab! "
